Thank you to all who supported our Cash Raffle and 2nd Annual March Madness Party!
Nearly 100 of us gathered at the Columbian Club of Lansing last Saturday night to enjoy basketball and companionship. The food was great, the prizes were exciting, and we had so much fun! We’ve already made a reservation for the same weekend next year, but we’ll be moving to the banquet room, so we will have more space for additional activities.
Congratulations to the March Madness Cash Raffle winners, who were drawn by Fr. Mark at the party:
- $2,500 Grand Prize: Norma Rangel
- $1,000 2nd Prize: John Woestman
- $750 3rd Prize: Martin Liszewski
- $500 4th Prize: Martin Liszewski
- $250 5th Prize: Robert and Nancy Havens
In just one month’s time, we managed to sell over 1,300 tickets, and we are so grateful to all of you who purchased and sold them. We could not have done it without your support! Thank you to our kind anonymous donor who supplied the prize moneys, to our sponsors who helped underwrite the expenses, and those who donated prizes to the basket raffle.
All funds brought in at the event and through the cash raffle will be dedicated to the Raise for The Roof project. Of course, raising money for parish needs is always important, but the value of meeting up and socializing, making new friends, and enjoying each other’s company is perhaps even greater.
