We love to see all of our parishioners’, friends’, and neighbors’ pets come out for the annual Blessing of the Pets! St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals and ecologists, so in his honor we bless the animals on the weekend nearest to his October 4 Feast Day — this year that will be October 1-2. All furry, feathered, and scaled companions are welcome to come out with their humans after select Masses this weekend: at St. Ann after the 4:00 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday Masses, and at St. James after the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass.
